It provides the necessary surface area and support when a door's top rail is too narrow to accommodate standard closer mounting, ensuring a secure and properly aligned installation. Built to the same durability standards as the 5800 Series line, this drop plate helps maintain correct closer positioning on aluminum storefront, hollow metal, and other narrow-stile doors. For contractors and facility managers, it's a reliable solution that keeps closer installations compliant and functioning as intended.

Features

Drop plate engineered specifically for narrow top rail door applications.

Designed for parallel arm mounting configurations.

Compatible with the Accentra (Yale) 5800 Series door closers.

Provides proper mounting surface where standard closer installation is not possible.

Durable construction suited for commercial-grade use.

Arm Type Details

This drop plate supports parallel arm installations, where the closer arm folds back and runs parallel to the face of the door.
