This patented Concealed Door Loop (CDL) offers an economical solution for transferring low voltage power from the door frame to the locking device. Unlike typical door loops that are surface-mounted and always visible, the CDL retracts into the door and/or frame, remaining completely hidden when the door is closed. It is suitable for Continuous and Butt hinge applications, including full mortise, half mortise, or half surface types with a standard throw. The CDL is often used in situations where Electric Transfer Hinges (ETH) are too costly and surface door loops are not preferred. Its aesthetic appeal enhances both retrofit projects and new installations.
