The Corbin Russwin CLX33905 is a heavy-duty, Grade 1 electrified cylindrical lockset designed for high-security commercial applications where Fail Secure functionality is required. Operating on an ultra-low 10mA current draw at either 12VDC or 24VDC, this Georgia-style lever stays locked from the outside during power failures to maintain building integrity while always allowing free egress from the inside. The unit features the ElectroLynx® 8-pin quick-connect system for "plug-and-play" installation with compatible hinges and cables, and it comes prepped for a 6-pin Large Format Interchangeable Core (LFIC), allowing for easy rekeying without dismantling the lock.
Function: Fail Secure - The Fail Secure function ensures the outside lever remains locked when power is removed, maintaining building security during a power outage or system failure. When power is applied, the outside lever unlocks for entry, while the inside lever always allows for free egress at all times.
