The LCN 1261-HEDA Surface Door Closer is a heavy-duty, Grade 1 commercial door closer engineered for high-traffic and high-abuse environments that require both durability and hold-open functionality. Equipped with a Hold Open Extra Duty Arm (HEDA), this closer features reinforced forged steel construction for demanding applications along with an adjustable hold-open function at the shoe to securely keep doors open at a desired position. Designed for push side parallel arm mounting, the 1261-HEDA supports up to 120° door swing and includes a non-sized adjustable spring (Size 1–5) for versatile use on interior doors up to 4’6” and exterior doors up to 3’6”. Built with a rugged cast aluminum body and all-weather hydraulic fluid, it delivers reliable performance in extreme conditions while meeting ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 and UL10C fire safety standards, making it ideal for schools, hospitals, industrial facilities, and other demanding commercial applications.
