The LCN 1261-SHCUSH Surface Door Closer is a heavy-duty, Grade 1 commercial door closer designed for high-traffic and high-abuse environments that require both impact protection and hold-open functionality. Featuring a Spring Hold Open Cush-N-Stop arm (SHCUSH), this closer combines a spring-loaded cushioned stop to absorb opening force and protect doors, frames, and walls with an adjustable hold-open function controlled at the arm for added convenience. Engineered for push side parallel arm mounting, the 1261-SHCUSH supports up to 110° door swing and includes a non-sized adjustable spring (Size 1–5) to accommodate interior doors up to 4’6” and exterior doors up to 3’6”. Built with a durable cast aluminum body and all-weather hydraulic fluid, it delivers reliable performance in extreme conditions while meeting ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 and UL10C fire safety standards, making it ideal for schools, hospitals, and other demanding commercial applications.

This spring hold-open Cush-N-Stop arm provides a spring-cushioned opening with a built-in stop to absorb impact and protect doors, frames, and walls in high-abuse applications. It also features an adjustable hold-open function, allowing the door to be securely held open at a desired position.
