McKinney DS-6 Emergency Door Stop comes in US26D Satin Chrome Finish.
The McKinney DS-6 Emergency Door Stop is recommended for installation with the McKinney EP-5J pivot in schools, hospitals, institutions, and other public buildings.
This unit allows center-hung or 1/8" inset doors to be opened in both directions without damaging the frame.
DS-6 Is Ideal For Use On Patient Rest Rooms In conjunction With Double Acting Pivots and Hardware.
McKinney DS-6 Emergency Rescue Door Stop Features:
- Accepted by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) for use in high-risk areas in behavioral healthcare settings
- Used to convert double-acting doors hung on center pivots to single-acting doors
- The emergency release allows the door to swing open in the opposite direction
- Mortise only on the frame
- Latch releases with a touch of the finger
- The second touch of the lever returns the latch to its original position
