Hollow Metal Frame Requirements:
Stop Height: 5 /8"
This will shift the top of the panic device down on the door when compared to an aluminium frame.
Stop Width: Minimum of 3" wide.
Reinforcement: Minimum 12 gauge closer reinforcement along the stop width in the area that the strike will be attached.

Note: Actual Door Size dimensions need to be actual door leaf size not a general opening size. Door gaps should NOT be included in these dimensions above.

This product was specifically designed to be used in the state of California or other areas where a 5lb. activation force is required to meet ADA. For other geographies, we recommend using our standard PDU8500.
Powder Coat options may not be tested to BHMA finish standards
*Minimum of 10" clearance from the floor on the mating pull side to prevent interference with wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
*Cylinder rings will be provided for cylinder lengths up to 1 5/8". If cylinder length is greater than 1 5/8", please contact factory.
*Select Medium Stile Strike for 2 1 /4" backset
