The Sargent 60-RX-10XG37-LL-12V is a Grade 1 classroom function cylindrical lock built for the demanding conditions of schools, offices, and other high-traffic commercial buildings. It combines the durable 10X Line chassis with a Request to Exit (RX) switch, allowing the lock to signal an access control or security system when the lever is turned from the inside. This model features the L rose and L lever design, a 2-3/4" backset, and a 4-7/8" strike. It comes prepared for large format interchangeable core cylinders and ships with a furnished disposable plastic core, giving installers flexibility to key the lock on site.

Functional Details

The classroom function allows the outside lever to be locked or unlocked using a key, giving staff control over room access, while the inside lever always retracts the latch for safe, immediate egress. The Request to Exit switch reports each inside lever operation to a connected system.

• Latchbolt operated by lever from either side except when outside lever is locked by key.
• When outside lever is locked, latchbolt is operated by key in outside lever or by rotating inside lever.
• Inside lever is always free for immediate egress.
