The Sargent 70-RX-10XG37-LL-12V is a Grade 1 classroom function cylindrical lock built for the demanding conditions of schools, universities, and other high-traffic commercial facilities. It features the LL trim design, pairing the L lever with the L rose for a clean, durable profile, and includes a built-in Request to Exit (RX) switch that signals access control systems when the lever is operated. Operating at 12 volts, this lock accepts a small format interchangeable core and is furnished less core, giving you the flexibility to integrate it into an existing keying system. With a 2-3/4" backset and 4-7/8" strike, it delivers reliable everyday performance and long-term dependability.

Functional Details
The classroom function (37) lets an instructor secure the room from the outside using a key, while the inside lever always retains free egress for safety. The integrated RX switch provides a signal to connected security or access control systems whenever the inside lever is turned.
