Functional Details

The 8265 privacy function allows the door to be locked from the inside for occupancy privacy, with an emergency release available from the outside for safety. The interior lever operates freely to allow immediate egress at all times.

• Privacy, Bedroom or Bath - Deadbolt thrown by turn/push button inside and can only be retracted by inside lever or emergency function outside.
• Both levers operate latchbolt except when deadbolt is thrown.
• Turn/push button in inner lever provides privacy.
• Deadbolt is automatically retracted when inside lever is turned.
