This is the Sargent R56AF-US10 Electric Latch Retraction Retrofit Motor Kit Part, designed for use with F-Rail devices measuring 33-36 inches and manufactured after 1995. It includes a push rail assembly and is compatible with 80 series exit devices. The finish is a professional and sophisticated US10-612 satin bronze.

  • Motor driven electric retraction for smooth precise operation.
  • Retrofits standard mechanical rail. 
  • R56AF - for doors 33-36"
  • Retrofit Kits can only be added to 80 Series exit devices manufactured after 1995
    & P series exit device. not available on FM8700 Series exit devices.
  • Amount of rail retraction is automatically controlled by the 56- circuitry; System actively monitors its position and adjusts itself
  • Digital retraction timer (0-20 seconds; factory setting is 5 seconds.
  • Can be used for continuous and intermittent use.
  • Power Requirements: 24VDC regulated/filtered power supply.
  • Current draw: .6A during retraction and .25A maintained in dogged hold position.
  • Requires 1A at 24VDC regulated/filtered power supply.
