Functional Details

The Entrance or Office function allows the outside lever to be locked or unlocked by key, while the inside lever always retracts the latch for free egress. The built-in Request-to-Exit switch senses inside lever movement and sends a signal, allowing the access control system to shunt alarms or track door usage during authorized exits.

• Latchbolt operated by lever from either side except when outside lever is locked by key.
• When outside lever is locked, latchbolt is retracted by key in outside lever or by rotating inside lever.
• Rotating inside lever activates the Request-to-Exit signal.
