Functional Details

This electro mechanical fail safe mortise lock is designed so the locked condition depends on power being applied. In a fail safe setup, loss of power releases the lock, which is commonly used on openings that require unlocked egress during a power interruption. The RX request-to-exit feature adds internal switch monitoring to signal egress activity for access control and security system coordination.
