Schlage ALX40-RHO, Privacy Cylindrical Lock with Field Selectable Vandlgard, Rhodes Lever, Non-Keyed, 2 3/4 Backset, 4 7/8" Strike, Grade 2, Non-handed

The Schlage ALX40-RHO Privacy Cylindrical Lock features a Field Selectable Vandlgard for added security. Equipped with a Rhodes Lever and Non-Keyed design, this Grade 2 lock has a 2 3/4 inch backset and a 4 7/8 inch strike. It is also non-handed for easy installation on any type of door.

ALX40 Non-Keyed Function, Bath/bedroom privacy lock

  • No key; emergency access coin turn outside; push button inside; spring latch
  • Inside push button locks outside lever
  • Turn inside lever or close the door to release the button and prevent lock-out; outside coin
    turn provides emergency access
  • Field selectable Vandlgard® feature
  • Inside lever is always free for immediate egress
