Schlage ALX53P6-ATH entrance cylindrical lock delivers Grade 2 security with a sophisticated Athens lever design. Features a 6-pin Schlage "C" keyway with keyed different operation and includes two keys for immediate use. The field-selectable Vandlgard mechanism provides flexible installation options. Engineered with a 2-3/4 inch backset and 4-7/8 inch strike, this non-handed lock accommodates various door configurations. Ideal for commercial and institutional applications requiring reliable access control and professional-grade construction.

ALX53 Single Cylinder Deadbolt Function, Entrance lock

  • Key cylinder outside; push/turn button inside; deadlatch
  • Inside button locks outside lever by pushing button or pushing and turning button
  • Pushed button: unlock with key outside or by rotating inside lever
  • Pushed/turned button: key outside retracts latch only; unlock by returning inside button to home position then using key or rotating inside lever
  • Field selectable Vandlgard® feature
  • Inside lever always free for immediate egress
