An option ideal for high-occupancy spaces such as auditorium-style classrooms with access control, ESL allows occupants to secure an opening in case of emergency.

The Von Duprin 967240-US28 Emergency Secure Lockdown Kit provides a reliable solution for quick and safe lockdowns in emergency situations. By simply turning the thumb turn or key, power to the QEL motor is interrupted, securely extending the latchbolt and sending a signal to the access control system. This allows for free exit from the room while restricting entry only to those with a key. A visual indicator provides reassurance that the exit device is in secure lockdown mode.
