Required when the door’s top rail measures less than 4-3/8" (111 mm) from the stop, this drop plate provides proper reinforcement while accommodating a minimum 1-3/4" (44 mm) top rail. Engineered for compatibility with the LCN Designer Series (DS) metal cover, the 1460-18PADS ensures clean installation and maintains ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 performance when paired with the 1460 closer.
