Functional Details

This electrified ET trim uses a fail secure function, which means the outside lever remains locked during a power loss and becomes operable when electrical power is applied. This setup is commonly used on secured openings where entry must be controlled by a card reader, switch, or other access control device while still allowing free egress through the exit device.
