Sargent 774-8-ETMV-12V Electrified Lever Trim, ET Trim, MV Lever, 12V, Fail Secure, No Cylinder

The Sargent 774-8-ETMV-12V electrified exit device trim is a fail secure outside lever trim designed for use with compatible 80 Series exit devices. This ET trim features the MV lever design and operates on 12V power, allowing controlled exterior access while maintaining free egress from the inside. In the de-energized state, the outside lever remains rigid, and when energized it retracts the latch for authorized entry. Supplied without a cylinder, this trim is a practical choice for access-controlled openings on commercial doors using Sargent 8800, 8888, 8500, and NB8700 series exit devices.

Functional Details

This fail secure electrified trim is intended for openings where the outside lever should remain locked during a power loss. When electrical power is applied, the trim allows authorized entry from the exterior; when power is removed, the outside lever stays secured while the exit device continues to allow egress from the inside.
