Fail-secure means the outside lever is locked when power is on, but unlocks during a power outage for free exit. A key can retract the latchbolt even when electronically locked.

The Sargent 8876-F-ETE-24V-US32D-LA-KD Rim Exit Device is specifically designed to fit 33-36 inch doors and comes with a 76 Electrified ETE Trim. It operates on 24V Fail Secure and includes a LA Keyed Random lock with [2] keys for added security. This device is made with Grade 1 stainless steel and does not have a dogging feature.

The 8800 series is designed for standard-width stile applications on wood and metal doors.

The 8800 Series is a reversible rim exit device that sets the industry standards for durability and reliability. It is part of Sargent's full line of exit devices.

Door Types: Wood or metal 1-3/4"(44mm) Thick Door; Over 1-3/4" specify thickness and order as a 31- prefix. 

Door Widths: E Rail - 24" to 32" (61cm to 81cm) No cutting required for 32" door; F Rail - 33" to 36" (84cm to 91cm) No cutting required for 36" door; J Rail - 37" to 42" (94cm to 107cm) No cutting required for 42" door; G Rail - 43" to 48" (110cm to 122cm) No cutting required for 48" door
