Functional Details

The ND53 entrance/office function is designed for doors that need outside keyed control with convenient inside egress. This function is commonly used where authorized entry is required from the corridor side while allowing free exit from the inside.

• Latchbolt operated by lever from either side unless outside lever is locked by key from outside or by push button inside.
• Outside lever unlocked by key from outside or by turning inside lever.
• Inside push button automatically releases when inside lever is turned or when outside lever is unlocked by key.
• Inside lever always free for immediate egress.
