Functional Details
This classroom function allows the outside lever to be locked or unlocked by key while the inside lever remains free for immediate egress at all times. It is a common choice for classrooms and other spaces where controlled exterior access and safe interior exit are both required.
- Latchbolt operated by lever from either side except when outside lever is locked by key from inside or outside.
- Inside lever always free for immediate egress.
- Inside push button disengages outside lever until unlocked by key or by turning inside lever.
