The Schlage ND70PD-LAT Cylindrical Classroom Lock with Latitude Lever is a heavy-duty Grade 1 cylindrical lock built for high-traffic commercial openings that require dependable classroom security and long service life. This Schlage "C" keyway configuration is keyed different and includes [2] change keys for individual keying convenience. The lock is supplied with a 2-3/4 inch backset and a 4-7/8 inch strike, and its non handed design helps simplify installation and field preparation. Functional Details
This classroom function lock allows the outside lever to be locked or unlocked by key while the inside lever remains free for immediate egress at all times. It is commonly used on classroom, faculty, and similar doors where authorized staff need key control from the corridor side without restricting exit from the room.
