Von Duprin 050070 Electric Latch(EL) Retraction Conversion Kit, Application, 36" Application For Use with 33A/35A/98/99 Devices

The Electric Latch (EL) option enables remote retraction of the latch for exit devices. By simply flipping a switch, a control station operator can retract the latch bolt for immediate push-pull operation. A strong and continuous solenoid retracts the latch bolt, allowing for both momentary unlatching or extended unlatching. This feature serves as an alternative to manual dogging and is compatible with 98/99 and 33A/35A Series rim, mortise, and vertical rod exit devices. EL devices are also suitable for use with automatic door operators and can be applied to fire-rated devices with the control of an automatic fire alarm system.
