What is the Sargent 12-8876-E-ETB-12V Rim Exit Device's latching/locking mechanism?
The device uses an electrified lever trim (776-8-ETB-12V-LC) where the key retracts the latchbolt. It's fail-secure, so power off unlocks the lever.
